So you want to help publicize Elden Street...

The job of publicity seems to never end for Elden Street.  Lists must be maintained, audition notices and postcards need to be mailed, then pictures and releases have to be produced, then the production postcards and advertisements are distributed, followed by development of the playbill... then it starts all over again for each production (including the five main stage shows every year, and three to four shows for Young Audiences).

Needless to say, it is a monster undertaking.  The ability to divide publicity up among responsible individuals with a strong sense of deadlines and organizational skills, combined with access to computers (and graphic artists) and an ability to get production material to our vendors during business hours is essential to succeeding in this capacity.  Publicity is a board level management position, but it has grown to a point where it requires a team of individuals sharing specific duties to get the job accomplished.  And this doesn't even take into account maintenance of the website and the lists currently being compiled for e-publicity.

If you interested in becoming a part of the Publicity Team, please contact us at webmaster@eldenstreetplayers.org or phone (703-481-5930) and we will make sure that the executive producer of the company contacts you.
