A Tony-award winning musical in March? Yes, we have two musicals this
season!
Falsettos is a touching story of a modern family complemented by an
award-winning musical score. Set at the beginning of the AIDS
epidemic, Marvin seems blessed with the perfect family. He has a
caring wife, Trina and a young son, Jason. Nevertheless, the family is
soon broken apart when Marvin leaves Trina for a man. The family
psychiatrist provides intimate comfort to Trina, leaving Jason stuck in the
middle. Can the family survive?
A nominee for Best Musical, it was awarded the 1992 Tony Award for Best
Book and Score.
