About the team:

Director: Barbara D. Carpenter

About the Director:
Barbara D. Carpenter "The Three Prince Charmings" marks Barbara's ninth directing gig at TFYA in as many seasons. Some favorites: "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," "Hansel and Gretel," "Fairyland Detective Agency," "Alice in Wonderland," and her very first show, "The Princess and the Pea." She also directed the family holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" in 2009. Maybe you saw her onstage in "Sleeping Beauty" (Maleficent), "Fairytales in Training" (Big Bad Wolf) or "Many Moons" (Queen). Most important lesson learned: Treat your techies well -- they hold all the power. Barbara is fortunate to have a patient and supportive family who have been following (and occasionally joining) her on this crazy theatre journey since she returned to the stage in 2000.
